DirectorAyumu WatanabeBringing my beloved original work to life as an anime and sharing it with everyone brings me unparalleled excitement and joy.
Re-reading the material in preparation for the adaptation brought back the excitement I felt when I first opened the book. The struggle and joy of creation, the deep immersion as my feelings overlapped with those of the characters in the story. I strongly felt the reason why so many fans support this work and was determined to create an anime that can share that passion.
While there are many works that deal with "magic," the magic in this series is portrayed as something very close to everyday life. Magic exists in a form that is intertwined with people's lives. The balance of not overstepping into fantasy too much is what makes this work so fascinating. While manga can depict "things that don't exist" as if they do, it is crucial to carefully portray "things that don't exist" to create a sense of reality for "things that do exist." The same goes for anime.
The protagonist of this work, Coco, represents "things that don't exist." I hope that together with Coco, everyone will be able to feel magic as something that does exist. It is my secret goal for the anime that Coco and the members of the Atelier will feel like real friends to all of you.

Character DesignKairi UnabaraWhen I re-read the original work in preparation for taking on the character design for this project, I held back tears because I found my feelings about "animation" deeply resonating with various parts of the story.
The charm of this work lies not only in the allure and glamour of "magic" that everyone has dreamed of at least once, but also in the careful depiction of the responsibilities and struggles of those who actually wield magic. What does "magic" mean to you? With this in mind, I will lovingly depict each character's background and emotions. I hope that as many people as possible will enjoy this work.. Yuka Kitamura
MusicYuka KitamuraI am both surprised and deeply honored to be invited to compose the soundtrack for "Witch Hat Atelier." I feel a great sense of joy and anticipation at the prospect of bringing this beautiful world to life through music.
The daily lives of Coco and her companions, the mechanics of magic, and the diverse array of creatures... Not only the world and art, but also the longing and conflict associated with magic, as well as the complex emotions each character possesses, are incredibly captivating. I aim to create music that enhances and shines a light on the charm of this wonderful work.

"While Atelier of Witch Hat" is a story of magic and wizards, the true magic lies in the drawings on paper coming to life.
I look forward to eagerly awaiting and enjoying this magic of an anime, born from the skills and passion of many wizards, together with everyone.
